Jorge Rios: Painter and Illustrator - 2D 3D Concept Artist __________________ I'm a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, with plenty of experience working with traditional media, video and 2D-3D software. I’ve worked in the preproduction, production and postproduction stages as a Graphic and Concept Designer and as a 2D-3D Artist in games, 3D real time applications, 3D documentaries, and creating media content for exhibitions and theme parks. I have management experience as an Art Director supervising a team of in house Graphic Artists, and outsourced subcontractors. I gained experience as a 3D Maya Generalist and Animator in a 30 chapter 3D series for TV, and was awarded as finalist in the International Auto Designing Contest Michelin Challenge Design. My concept car was on exhibition in the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. As a Fine Artist my work has been awarded and displayed in different contests and exhibitions. I’ve been working as an Illustrator for a range of international publishers, and teaching design and multimedia related subjects at three universities.
